Coronavirus (Covid-19)

It is with great disappointment that we have taken the decision to suspend RDA riding and driving sessions with effect from Wednesday 18th March until further notice.

This decision is not taken lightly and we do appreciate that this will be a disappointment to our many clients and volunteers. However, we have taken this decision in line with current government advice. We will keep the situation under review and we will be in contact clients and volunteers by email as soon as the situation changes.

The suspension of riding and driving sessions comes at a big price for us, as without our clients we lose a valuable source of income. Our loyal horses and ponies will still need feed, hay, to see the farrier and possibly even care from the vet. With no clear idea of when we will be able to start activities again this is a huge challenge for us. If you would like to help support us through these difficult times please make a donation via Virgin Money Giving.

Volunteers please note until further notice please do not go to the Bays. In line with current government stipulations this includes sharers. We understand this is disappointing news but we are sure you will understand that we must comply with all government advice.  We will contact you by email as soon as the situation changes.

In 2017 the Riding for the Disabled Woodbridge & District Group moved to its new home at The Bays, in Clopton. It was officially reopened by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, President of The RDA, on 19th December 2017.

We are enormously grateful for the support we have received to enable us to build this fabulous new facility.
