Other Activities

Horse Care and Stable Management

In addition to riding and carriage driving we also offer Horse Care and Stable Management courses. Designed to have a positive impact on physical and mental wellbeing, this includes activities that will contribute to the RDA Proficiency Certificates and Endeavour awards, part of the national RDA Education ‘Learning through Horses, Learning for Life’ programme, which mark and celebrate achievement, at all levels of ability, recognising each participant as an individual with their own needs.

Tea with a Pony

This activity is designed to help those living with dementia and other long term conditions, for whom horse riding or carriage driving may not be suitable but who might be helped by an activity involving horses. Participants enjoy time with one of our fabulous horses and ponies followed by a cup of tea and cake in the company of carers and family members providing an opportunity to revisit old memories and share new experiences.

How much does it cost?

We suggest a minimum donation of £12 per session/per person for these activities. However, if you would like to make a larger donation then this is always welcomed.
