PARTICIPANTS
What are the term dates for riding, driving and other activities?
Most of activities run during school term time (term dates), the exception is adult carriage driving that runs through the summer months taking a break over the winter, your carriage driving coach will be able to give you more information. We do also offer a range of summer activities.
How much notice do I need to give when stopping activities? 4 weeks. For those paying via subscription, please keep your standing order in place until after your notice period.
How can I order RDA Woodbridge participant clothing? Fill out the online participant clothing form.
I can’t make a session - what shall I do? To avoid volunteers getting horses ready unnecessarily, we really appreciate advanced notice if you cannot attend your session. If you know well in advance then please tell your coach. We also understand that unexpected situations do arise. Please give us as much notice as you can, phone the office on 01473 737087 and leave a message on the answer phone if no one is around.
How do I know what to expect in a session? Take a look at our Participant Handbook.
Can I wear my own riding hat and boots? Yes you can wear your own riding boots as long as they have closed-toes, are made of substantial material, and have a distinct heel (about 1.5 to 2.5 cm) to prevent your foot from slipping through the stirrup. Your hat must be comply with current safety standards, be in good condition and we are satisfied it fits correctly.

GENERAL QUESTIONS
I am interested in private use of your indoor arena: please take a look at our arena use page.
I am a participant / volunteer / arena user, can I bring my dog? For safety reasons, with the exception of trained assistance dogs, dogs are not allowed on site.
Can I feed the horses? Our horses and ponies love carrots, parsnips, apples and bananas, but rather than feeding them in-between meals, please just pop any fruit & veg goodies in the box near the signing in book. The staff will make sure they get them. And like us humans, horses and ponies can unfortunately put weight on, so we avoid sugary treats like polo mints.
I have / know of a horse / pony that might be suitable for RDA: please fill out the enquiry form on our contact us page and give brief details of the horse’s age, size and previous history.
