Online Safeguarding training

This is must-do training for all volunteers. Please bring your certificate of completion in, and we’ll file it with your records, your Green Card cannot be signed-off until this is completed. If you’ve already got an account, then head on over to the learning portal and enrol on the Safeguarding course.

Can't make your usual volunteering session

If you're unable to attend your usual volunteering session, please let us know as soon as possible. Early notice gives us the best chance to arrange cover and ensure our sessions continue to run smoothly for our participants, so please use the volunteer sign-up sheets in the Community Room.

We understand that plans can change, and we appreciate you keeping us informed whenever you’re unable to attend. Please call the office on 01473 737087, there is an answerphone, please leave a message giving us your name and which day(s) it is that you cannot attend.

Photos for our website and social media

Photos help catch people's attention and draw an audience for our social media posts, website and case studies. Good photos are vital to help us tell our stories.

You don’t need expensive equipment to take a good photo – the camera on your smartphone will usually be enough. Follow our simple guide to help you get the best results.

Important: please make sure the people in your photos understand where and how the photos will be used and check we have their written permission (or their parent’s, teacher’s or carers). If in doubt ask the session coach or check with the office.

Wearing branded clothing is optional, but helps create a consistent appearance during our sessions, and at events, training sessions, and when representing RDA Woodbridge in the community.
